Tomb Raider design test

This work was done in two days. The goal was to design a combat set up and a puzzle.

The puzzle involved turning a wheel to raise the support beams of a broken elevator. Depending on how far the player rotated the wheel, it raised and lowered the beams different levels. The player had to experiment to find the correct the levels to reach multiple paths.

The combat section entailed using mine carts as cover from enemies that would fire at the player from the back of the room. The player would need to pull the mine carts, either left or right to create a path to the next piece of cover. Once they made their way to the last piece of cover, they could flank the enemies.

I got the job! yay!
